How it works

1. Confidential documents for destruction are placed in the locked bins in your office provided by Shredlock.
2. As scheduled, or by request, your approved Shredlock customer service representative will come into your office and transport the locked bin to the parked mobile shredding truck.
3. The bin and driver are lifted on a hydraulic platform into the work area of the truck (monitored by C.C.T.V.) , where the door is closed behind them. Only then is your bin unlocked.
4. The bin is emptied into the hopper of the powerful on-board shredder where your documents are immediately shredded into small unrecognisable pieces.
5. The shredded materials are now stored in the rear of the truck while your bin is returned to your office with a Certificate of Destruction for your records.
6. The shredded waste material is unloaded at the recycling depot to be manufactured into a variety of new paper and cardboard products.

Is it possible to stockpile un-shredded confidential documents so they can be shredded later in a run?	Yes	No - All documents must be shredded on the spot, so they simply cannot be stockpiled.
How many people have access to your confidential documents whilst they are still in a readable form?	?	None - The documents are shredded in the mobile shredding truck on your premises before being taken away for recycling.
To increase the value of the paper for recycling, are the documents sorted prior to shredding?	Yes	No - The documents are not physically touched by any person once they are deposited in your locked document bin.
Do you staff need to spend time removing paper clips, bull dog clips, binders etc before they can be put in the shredding bin?	Yes	No

Scheduled servicing

Shredlock will assess your individual requirements and set up a customised service schedule suited to your needs. Once your service frequency is agreed upon, Shredlock will provide you with an appropriate number of lockable bins for the secure storage of your confidential documents while they await destruction.

Shredlock's onsite document destruction can transform your office in just hours. Our powerful mobile shredder can destroy in excess of 800kg of paper and cardboard every hour. If you are having an office and archive clean out there is no sorting required and no need to remove staples, clips, folders or boxes as our powerful shredder can handle it all. All you have to do is call us to arrange a suitable time for the bin drop off and collection.
